WORKSHOPS

Workshop Offerings
September 4, 2024 - November 20, 2024
Wednesdays From 10:00am - 11:30am
All are Welcome Anytime - No RSVP Needed

Our workshops are designed to tap into our unconscious through quieting ourselves. Journaling, movement, finding ourselves through the Enneagram, exploring your false self and creating art are all ways we travel into our own lives and our own stories, and where we meet God along the way. The more available we are to God, the more available we are to truly love ourselves, one another and the world. In a safe space, we are free to explore the depths of our souls, search for meaning, and share as we see fit, all within our spiritual community. We believe that when we can bridge the gap between our busy minds and the Spirit, through creativity and listening, we become more aware of our purpose for what God has for us while in turn allows us to be more compassionate towards ourselves and others.

  • Art Meditation

    Join Krista, local Conifer artist, as we use art as a way to connect deeper to our true selves. Krista will use a variety of art mediums as a way to connect to God, to ourselves and each other.

    Meeting Time:
    11.6
    Krista’s Art Studio

  • The Human Condition

    The Human Condition, as Kit will lead in our Inner Wilderness group, seeks to be a guide for exposing and subsequently escaping, the hidden motivations stored from childhood in our unconscious.  We will be talking about our “False Self,” which describes our reliance on energy centers that we created to make up for pre-rational programming from childhood, including deficits in feelings of security, affection and control in our lives. As we age, we find ourselves focusing more and more on employing these 3 centers to guide our decision making, our reactions and our feelings.  The practice of Contemplative Prayer and the awareness of the importance of these universal energy centers, can help us become more attuned to the presence of God and God’s Divine Healing.

    Meeting Times:
    9.25 | 10.16 | 10.23
    St. Laurence Church
    {26812 Barkley Road, Conifer}

  • Journal Collage

    Journaling as a spiritual practice means that we begin with the longing to come closer to God through our journaling.  Like all spiritual practices, it begins with the trust that God is active at the heart of our lives and the life of the world.  It begins with our openness to trusting in the transforming power of Christ’s Spirit to lead us closer to our true selves and to God. Jane will lead us through this practice of writing out your thoughts that can help organize your thinking, work through complicated emotions, and tune in to your creativity.

    Meeting Times:
    9.18
    St. Laurence Church
    {26812 Barkley Road, Conifer}

  • Connect with your Inner Wisdom

    Jennifer will guide us through a variety of practices which invite us into deeper understanding of ourselves through our connection to our inner wisdom. When we slow down and spend time inward, we expand our capacity to be our best selves in our outer world. We also build inner strength by connecting with others who have the intention to do the same. Each of these sessions will be focused on a different practice and will include time for conscious conversation and will be facilitated by Jennifer Reeve of RememberYourWings.com

    Fall Nature Wander
    Meeting Times:
    9.4 | 10.2
    Flying J Ranch Park
    {9661 Highway 73, Conifer}

  • Enneagram Workshop

    Sylvia will guide us through each type of the Enneagram and teach us its strengths and weaknesses in relation to learning to be present to the Holy Spirit in our lives, and how to practice moving beyond "making a self." We will learn how to simply be with what arises in our perception and become acquainted with the stillness that makes it more likely to perceive how God is working in our lives. On the way, we can grow in compassion for ourselves and consequently for our family members and friends. At the same time, we stand to notice how the way we have been made can serve a purpose in the work of God's Kingdom on Earth.

    Meeting Times:
    10.30 | 11.20
    St. Laurence Church
    {26812 Barkley Road, Conifer}

“The coming to consciousness is not a discovery of some new thing; it is a long and painful return to that which has always been”. - Helen Luke
