WORKSHOPS
Workshop Offerings
February 5, 2025 - May 21, 2025
Wednesdays From 10:00am - 11:30am
All are Welcome Anytime - No RSVP Needed
Our workshops are designed to tap into our unconscious through quieting ourselves. Journaling, movement, finding ourselves through the Enneagram, exploring Welcoming Prayer and creating art are all ways we travel into our own lives and our own stories, and where we meet God along the way. The more available we are to God, the more available we are to truly love ourselves, one another and the world. In a safe space, we are free to explore the depths of our souls, search for meaning, and share as we see fit, all within our spiritual community. We believe that when we can bridge the gap between our busy minds and the Spirit, through creativity and listening, we become more aware of our purpose for what God has for us while in turn allows us to be more compassionate towards ourselves and others.

Art Meditation
Join Krista McKinnon, local Conifer artist, as we use art as a way to connect deeper to our true selves. Krista will use a variety of art mediums as a way to connect to God, to ourselves and each other.

Welcoming Prayer
The Welcoming Prayer, as Kit Snyder will lead in our Inner Wilderness group, is a method of consenting to God’s presence and action in our physical and emotional reactions to events and situations in daily life. The purpose of the Welcoming Prayer is to deepen our relationship with God through consenting in the ordinary activities of our day — “consent-on-the-go.”

Journal Collage
Journaling as a spiritual practice means that we begin with the longing to come closer to God through our journaling. Like all spiritual practices, it begins with the trust that God is active at the heart of our lives and the life of the world. It begins with our openness to trusting in the transforming power of Christ’s Spirit to lead us closer to our true selves and to God. Jane will lead us through this practice of writing out your thoughts that can help organize your thinking, work through complicated emotions, and tune in to your creativity.

Qoya
Qoya Inspired Movement is an embodiment practice that weaves together thirteen different pillars to welcome all aspects of ourselves, bringing mind, body, heart and soul into awareness. Qoya classes are a place to strengthen our inherent resilience, rest in our essence and remember we are wise, wild and free. This class will be facilitated by Jennifer Reeve of RememberYourWings.com

Enneagram Workshop
Sylvia Olney will guide us through each type of the Enneagram and teach us its strengths and weaknesses in relation to learning to be present to the Holy Spirit in our lives, and how to practice moving beyond "making a self." We will learn how to simply be with what arises in our perception and become acquainted with the stillness that makes it more likely to perceive how God is working in our lives. On the way, we can grow in compassion for ourselves and consequently for our family members and friends. At the same time, we stand to notice how the way we have been made can serve a purpose in the work of God's Kingdom on Earth.
